North Point Distillery distil their award-winning spirits using only the best, sustainable ingredients, using hand-selected whisky casks from local whisky distilleries to mature and finish their Rum. The community and local area are so important to them, and it’s actually what inspired their story - the heritage of Caithness and the story of the pilots (think adventures across the sea and inadvertently ending up in the Caribbean - it makes for an interesting read!)
Growing up in Caithness, they see the beauty of nature all around them and they want to preserve it however they can. That’s why they are so committed to sustainability and using recycled materials wherever possible. Read more about their sustainability measures here.

St Mary’s Chapel and Crosskirk Bay - St. Mary's Chapel is one of the oldest & best-preserved ecclesiastical buildings of its time. It dates to the early 12th century & although, in date, of Norse origin, the chapel shows signs of the early Celtic religion brought over from Ireland.
Kaithness Clays - located directly behind North Point Distillery.
There are secret tunnels underneath the Distillery as North Point Distillery is located at Forss Business & Energy Park, which used to be the site for the US Naval Communications Station.
