Additional Information

As you drive down to Latheronwheel Harbour, you will pass a sign to ‘Latheronwheel Strath’. Park at the harbour and make your way back up to the sign, which marks the start of this enchanting walk. A delight for children of all ages, you can discover the many fairy houses, looked after by volunteer elves from the village. The walk through the glen follows the stream – the Latheronwheel Burn – which runs down into the sea. You can continue your walk through the forest onto the A9, then stay on the pavement and loop your way back into the village, continuing back to the harbour.

Please note: the local elves work very hard but they can’t do everything – so please don’t leave any rubbish and keep dogs on leads.
